HIFFT - Father and son

High intensity Flyin Free Training.

Start with the jump rope, try for a full minute-

then go immediately to handstand pressups using something to lean against like a wall or pole if needed. Do 5 reps slow-

Take off and strart running around the track, ours is a third mile, but we stop along the way. Up and down the bleachers-

along the way, balance walk the tops of all the benches-

jump thru all the split trees that you can-

maybe even pick up a log length and take it with you for a while-

stop at the shak house and do pull ups. 5 reps-

then do incline pushups. 5 reps-

then run and cut thru tree lineup, keep it jerky and fast-

and go back to the bench with the rope....

FULL CYCLE IS ONE REP. Our park is a 1/3 mile loop. do 10 reps.

you will have run a 5K
done 10 minutes of jump
done 50 handstand pressups
done 50 pullups
done 50 pushups
core training with the jump and balancing.

Good workout!

my boy! or i could sit on the couch smoke cigarrettes and drink. He'll do what i do ya know.

Proud Dad!

Thats the coolest thing ever. I hope my kids want to do some of what I love to do too. This month my 6 yr old son is doing a kid triathlon...and is EXCITED about it. yesterday in the pool he did 4 laps without stopping and announced he wants to get faster than me I told him I hope he does...but not without a fight

Thats pretty awsome man. I too wish my stepdad would do that crap with me. Working out with your kid and showing him the ropes is probaly one of the most motivational things for your kid.

he accepted the Firday challenge and did 600 squats today. Its in the challenges thread.

and yes, he is now lifting. We do pullup pyramids in the backyard, but that's about it... he is 14 now.

I wrote his plan, went to show him his routine with him once, but he goes with his friends mostly.
