I can't believe it's been two years
I joined in december 2005.. now it's december 2007! I came as a newbie needing help, now I can help others. I was weak, I was small, I was tall.
when I came here I was maybe 6'2 - 6'3 and about 152lbs! Now I'm 6'4 and about 212 lbs. So I've gained 60lbs over these two years. I don't know the lifts when I started, but it wasn't as I always was the small weak kid.
For now I want to become atleast 220 before I cut, I'll probably wait a bit more.
Thanks everyone who has helped me

Yeah I was thinking about starting then too, right after the DL contest ends. And I want to use the winter months to bulk up and cut when it starts getting close to summer.

That would be wise Karky - what with living in an igloo and all.

I didn't even think about that. When I joined (7 mos after you) - you presented yourself as fairly knowledgeable, don't get me wrong - but I remember you making comments every now and then about not being an expert, or being new at all this, etc. Boy, has your avatar changed too!
awww, our little Karky is growing up..

Thats great progress man. I have a similar experience myself. I joined here and didn't know a damn thing, but slowly learned about compounds, lifting right, eating right...I've come a long way thanks to a lot of people here, yourself included.

So I've gained 60lbs over these two years.
Well... You just destroyed the comments from another thread. "you can't gain more than 25lbs in a year" and "You might gain 25lbs one year, but it will be less and less after that"
Congrats Karks. In my one year or so here it has been fun watching you progress.
We are glad you are here.

Don't have any before pics, sorry. Maybe I can dig up some random photos from some family holidays or something.
And I don't think there's that much fat with those 60lbs either. Sure, I'm not as lean now as I was back then, but I'm still "a lean guy"
