I don't see a problem with it, I wouldn't get one of course, but there are plenty of lonely old men out there who probably don't have a chance with a real women. Like BigTom, but he's got his sheep so he's all good. LOL just kidding..hope he doesn't read this.

I see a problem in it. I'm as open minded as the next person, but, how can someone consider this a "relationship"??? There is no interaction as Janet points out. How can this help people develope the correct social skills to interact with another person in an intimate way? This is one more thing to cause people to isolate themselves from others. This is just the sort of thing that helps feed the perverse minds of serial killers and sociopaths.

The way you speak of it Phate, it sounds like it is becoming a trend??? When did you first hear of this? I was very surprised when it showed on the BBC. Didn't watch it though, had stuff to do.

And no, this isn't something that will feed perverse minds. It's a way of old, unattractive men that have no chance in the dating world to relieve their stress. If anything, this will probably decrease rape.

And yep, this is an going trend. It's getting really popular in Japan where it's getting sold out. Wouldn't be surprised if that popularity doesn't travel to other countries.

Main point : It's NONE of your business what people do in their homes.

In the future, they will make life sized androids that look like females. And they will be programmed to please their men and have a relationship with their human masters.

Yeah, that's pretty creepy, but they made a really good, really funny movie about it. It's called "Lars and the Real Girl". Definitely see it.

I honestly don't really see the point in these things though. The population is pretty much 50/50 male-female. And it's not like the majority of the world practices polygamy so all of the women can't be taken. There are plenty of single women, so it wouldn't seem that hard for a guy to find a real girlfriend. I mean, I'd much rather take my chances with a real person than dish out ten grand for some doll.

You and I might not agree with it, but who are we to stop them?

Anyways, some guys just want to the pro's of a women, and not deal with the cons ( attitude, pms'ing, lets cuddle, etc )

Well, then go down to the local "strip" and take a dip, then.
