My daughters sweet sixteen party is tonight. It is a 40's Style Swing Dance party from 6pm to midnight.

I have everythign she wanted. We will be at a swing dance hall for 6 hours.

What am I, DAD, FlyinFree, supposed to do for 6 hours. Without upsetting her, embarrassing her, or any of that stuff. My guess is that sneaking off with one of her friends is "out." SO- what am I supposed to do, how shoudl I act.

Please help me.

oh that is a tough one and it is really hard to tell without knowing your daughter. Does she want you to be there? Or would you simply not let her go to the swing hall alone? You could always go for a run, some pullups and pushups with your son

She picked me to be shaparone. I guess maybe I don't have to stay. But, I think the plan is that I am.

I aksed her and she told me to take pictures and keep an eye on the cake. UM--- ok, that covers about 30 minutes of time in total.. 5.5 hours left over here....

Be like Peter Griffin when he goes back to Meg's HS as the new "cool" kid. Dress up in the right clothes and hang with all her friends

Sit in a corner and just talk to them and hang out for 6 hours, making sure nothing bad happens like fights etc.

Just sit around act cool, I had to go and supervise a 16th birthday party and because I was a fair bit older I just sat round chilled out. Had heaps of young girlies coming up and asking me questions etc and I did have to turf a couple of naughty characters out but I was cool haha.

Just sit back, sip a drink and play "rate the hotties". Maybe take a few pics for her memories, etc. Nothing to it, ain't like you got a choice....

Yeah, thats somewhat odd...but I'm sure its all meant in jest so whatever.

I went to my sister-in-law's college graduation last year and they all looked like little kids to me. Maybe I'm the weird one, but I tend to be attracted to women that are roughly my age.
