What Annoy's you most about your gym? Just curious to know, what drives you the most crazy when you are workin out? For me, it is the jerks who neglect to put their weights back or those that leave their 45 lbs and 100lbs still on the machine. If you squat 400 lbs, good for you, but learn to put your **** back when you are done instead of making the next person do it. What else!? -
people who dont have the courtesy of wiping the machine after they use it with the sanitizer -
no gorgeous women in tight clothing since i switched gyms....i now workout at home =(
when i did belong to a gym, people who don't rack their weights or don't rack them RIGHT -
Generally my gym is pretty good. Only thing i don't like is the local school kids screwin around in there. It probably has sumthin to do with my old school being rivals with them. -
I work at my gym and what annoys me is the rate at which they "get around" to issues or need of equipment in my dept. to keep the class functioning smoothly and professionally -
People need to rack there weights and clean there sweat. I also hate the people that take 30 minutes between sets to talk to there buddies. -
Well, the weight room at my school is pretty sick. It's a hardcore weight room, where there are unspoken rules that everyone but incoming freshmen follow. Once you're done with a bar for say squats or bench, you deload the bar. If you wanna use the equipment that somebody else is, just ask to cut in and you just take turns. If you need a spot, just ask anyone and they will without reservation. I love it. Honestly, theres nothing wrong with my weight room. It's not a pretty gym, not sparkly, no hot women to gawk at ;-] just a lot of free weights, perspiration, loud music, and hardcore-ness RAWR! Theres a reason we are a powerhouse in so many sports, and why we are usually number 1 club at every powerlifting event (beating out other schools and gyms with adults of any age)
I <3 my schools weight room -
I don't mind racking others' weight, but I do mind when I have to wait for someone to finish their useless exercise ie, pilates or curls in the power rack. -
I don't like it when people try to have full conversations with me (about weather or some other stupid topic) while I'm running on the treadmill or in the middle of lifting weights. I love talking to people, but sometimes I am incapable of talking. I don't want to be rude and not talk to them, so I try and give little hints like turning the music up on my mp3 player or running faster.
I have to say I do enjoy watching the new people come in and attempt at trying to figure out how to operate the machines (I let them make fools of themselves for a little bit, then I help them out ).
I also love watching funny movies, but I hate when it's a really funny scene and I can't laugh because I won't be able to breath. -
The safety pins are bent that go in the power cage (albeit mostly due to my fault). So if you have to adjust them, you have to get someone to tug and pull on them and hammer them in/out with one of the weight plates. -

I saw a guy curling with dumbells in the squat rack for the first time yesterday, I'd heard the legends but never seen such stupidity through my own eyes
My pet peeve has to be the groups of guys who come in and occupy the bench press for about an hour doing set after set of low weight, high reps. -
PTs who hogg one corner of the weights room to train a client, get all the weights and equipment out and dont put the f*****g stuff back -
my gym isn't that bad...I guess the only thing I can't stand is there is the 3-5 guys who come in everyday, they are in great shape, so I can't knock them to hard but they come in, do about 3 sets of curls or bench presses then they just stand there for about a hour...little to no talking to each other, they just stand there and size everyone up around them...then they just leave -
I think we must all go to the same gym -

The dudes that put their power drink (or keys, or towel, etc.) on one machine as a 'holder' just to work on the machine next to it.
