work out music

I listen to all forms of music but am a metal head at heart.
So this begs the question of what do you listen to if anything while you work out?

I'm jamming something heavy like Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth etc. I can feed off the energy from that kind of music.

I'm with you. I like a lot of different types of music, but I like metal for working out.

anything that rocks...especially cuz I hate cardio so I need a good beat to keep me movin'

if a ballad paced song pops up on my mp3 player, i subconsciously slow down.

work out music

I try to tune music out and focus because I end up moving to whatever the beat is if I'm not vigilant. However, my gym blares music and I hate wearing headphones, so I'm stuck. The station they play is one of those "everything" stations, so you can go from Black Sabbath to Michael Bolton to 50 Cent to The Four Tops. Crazy.

I usaully listen to something that's fast, but I doubt anyone that isn't into house/trance/hardstyle would be interested.
