| | | Body Fat Caliper- where to measure I want to know where to take measurements when using the body fat caliper for a female. Every time I do a search on the internet, I get different locations of the body to take measurements from, so I just need to know the areas a female needs to get the most acccurate result from my measuring.
Also, isnt it true that you cant eat or drink before measuring? Any other rules I need to know?
Thanks in advance!

Emily | Accu-measure...
very affordable, and u only check one spot
check ebay
when measuring just try to keep it about the same time of day so u are consistant... to see if your dropping BF% or not
just try not to measure it right after a workout |

Men tend to lose bf around their middle last, women around the hips. Quote: |

| Not try, it's a must not. The muscles are ingorged with blood, swelling the body. Taking measurements after a workout would give completely wrong results. |

| | My calipers are Accu-Measure brand and the instructions that came with them do recommend a one spot measure. http://www.accumeasurefitness.com/descript.html
Using the page above I come within .3% or 16.8% vs. 16.5% from the three site measure. |

If you are doing solo, I'd recommend a 3-pt or a bio-electrical impedence, such as an Omron, but not a Tanita. |
