| | | How to lose extra skin? Hello, first time posting on this forum, just needed some help.
I'm 14 years old, when I was 12 I had some personal issues and had to be medicated, during that time I gained a lot of weight, all my life I had a fast metabolism, up untill this point.
After gaining all that weight, around 5 months after my 13th birthday I got taken off of these pills, that's where the problem began.
Since my metabolism was so fast, I was losing so much weight and really fast.
I've heard this was bad, but there was nothing I could do, I tried to even eat MORE food, but nothing worked, I couldn't stop myself from losing weight, I wasn't very active either.
I was around 63kgs before I started losing weight and till this day I'm around 52kgs, I lost around 11kgs in just a month or so.
All that extra skin is still there, on my stomache and chest, but that seems to be the only area!
About one and a half weeks ago I found a decent exercise program to lose that extra skin, I started eating healthier and trying to be more active, in that short one and a half weeks I've gained a six pack, not visable but you can definitely feel it.
Anyway, what my question was, what would be the best way for me to lose extra skin on my stomache and chest?
It's not a whole lot when I'm standing/laying down, but when I sit down it scrunches up and looks gross.
Thanks for your time, sorry for the long read. |

Thanks for your time, sorry for the long read. | You didnt stipulate what these personal issues were, but from the content of your post, it appears to be medically related.
Have you obtained medical clearance to engage in fitness activities? Have you talked with your parents about this problem? If so, what have they said?
Personally, I dont feel compfortable giving a 14 year old diet and fitness advice--based on the overall contents of your post, and the possibility of unknown medical conditions that may be still present.
Do not take this post the wrong way. I just dont feel compfortable with what I dont know about you at this time.
Best wishes in all that you do in life young man.

| | | I had low self esteem for awhile, I don't know why, I suddenly started feeling bad one day, they put me on medication and then I started gaining lots of weight, which made me feel worse.
I'm much better now, though, but getting rid of that little extra skin would make me feel so much better.
I've talked with my parent about it, they thought it was a good idea.
When I'm standing there's atleast 2-3cm of extra skin before I can feel the six pack.
All I want to know is how to reduce this so I can see and feel my pack just by touching my abs lightly. |

| | | My understanding is it can take a year to see the natural results of skin tightening. Plus, like g8r80 said, you're still growing. It shouldn't be an issue |

| | | Play basketball for at least an hour, every other day. You'll burn a lot of calories; don't try to reduce calorie intake, eat your treats, u r still young, but be sensible and don't overdo it.
Aim for 2200 - 2400 kcal per day, avoid bread and pasta, eat your treats during the weekend and u will see results in 2 months time. By the way, your six pack was always there, we all have it, your belly fat keeps it from showing. Tell me how it goes. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
