lifting heavier

I want to change up my routine from high rep/low weight to high weight/low reps. So when buying a bench and weights, what should I look for that will grow with me. Right now I only have ten pound dumbells, but are way too light.

Check out the barbell and benches over at www.elitefts.com They have some high quality stuff; it can be semi-pricey but that will give you an idea of what to look for.

You'll want an olympic size barbell and a 300 pd free weight set to go with it.

My suggestion is to go ahead and spend the extra cash on olympic dumbells too - that way you can use all the same weights for both.
