Need help with legs!

Hello everyone,

Ive started body building about a year ago and my body is starting to take shape apart from my legs. Ive always had thin calves and just below leading to my ankle. I go the gym 3 times a week and for the bottom half of my body a use all the leg machines (3 sets of 12's) and go on the rowing machine (2000m), exercise bike (20 mins) and go jogging round the neighbourhood but looking at my legs recently they seem to have gone thinner around the ankle part and the calves. I need help drasticly because im going on holiday in 2 months and dont want to look silly in shorts. Any help will be great.

thanks for reading.

dont use machines, use free weights. for legs i would recomend Squat.. you could do deadlifts too.. those two exersices are essential and how to make your calves longer i dont know, but to make them bigger you could do some kind of calv rise and only wait 45 secs between sets, if you only want size.

but remember, squats and deadlifts

I would also recommend lunges and/or single leg squats. As far as longer, time to do that old painful thing called stretching. GL

Standing and seated calf raises with heavy weight will help. Your diet plays a big role in growth as well so make sure it is in tune with your goals....

Yup, squats and deads. High pulls and modified Oly lifts helped my calves and start some sprinting rather than the slow-n-steady method.
