are there other books or dvd that will show you the different and diverse exercises they show? thats the thing i like...new and different exercises

just buy the new encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding, I grabbed it the other day, and its well worth the price. Only around 33$ with taxes. It might now show the exacts of p90x, but it has everything you need to build lean massive amounts of muscle.

I check up on my people. Some of them I have write me weekly or daily progress reports on how they are doing. I do what I can to motivate them, but after the first step or two into the program they typically turn into fitness monsters and there is really no holding them back at that point. Its beautiful.

I saw a copy of that book at a barnes and noble. I didnt buy it but I stayed and read into it for a couple of hours as I relaxed on one of their sofas. It was a good read! Many of the same concepts the book talks about is in p90x. Its just good ole fashioned weight lifting 101.

I don’t look at it this way, P90x is a very detailed program and that is what a lot of people need, me one of them. It teaches you about nutrition and the nutrition is formatted to follow the workouts. There are three phases to the program. I can personally say that p90x works and I am the proof of that. I am not where I want to be put p90x has but me very close. I am on my 2nd round of the X. It's so much fun and the results happen fast.

However you are right that p90x is not for everyone it’s intense and it’s not easy at all, but if you follow the program it works and works darn well. Sure you can mix it up on your own and try and figure out what works for you. You might figure this out the first time or you might not. P90x works if you follow it that’s all there is to it.

Well stated. My line of work sucks in the regard that schedule is inconsistent and time to workout and eat well varies. However, a good friend of mine was able to seriously change his body composition and got in bad ass shape. I asked him what the hell he had been doing and he sheepishly said "Have you ever seen those P90X commercials?"

He purchased them and loaded them on his iPod and did them in the hotel room.

Made me give serious consideration to picking them up.
