*Generaly* when bulking you must ADD weight otherwise your muscles will not adapt as much as they should. When adding weight you will sometimes also add fat to your body. It's ->normal<-. This is why you generalize the idea of seeing fat body-builders in bulking threads. Normal process, they cut it off after.

Bulk up then carve that fat off. Bulking - Cutting.

I hope you will still go if he doesn't join you.

Just sayin'

Oh I'll still go.

A different friend of mine said he got an eight pack by doing some ten minute pilates exercise every day along with with proper diet and cardio in only 3-4 months, is this possible at all?

If he had the abs under the fat than all he had to do was lose the fact.
People vary when it comes to ab thickness and definition.

You have very small weak abs, and even if you lost body fat you wouldn't see it. If you had them, you'd see it by now.

You have to bulk up and gain the muscle in the abs through direct and indirect squat work

I used to be 145lbs, was skinny like you and had no abs. Then I bulked up about 12-15lbs and now I have a 4 pack when I flex thanks to Squats, deadlifts, and weighted ab work.

maybe. It still sounds like you are looking for a quick way to get in shape. Get a proper routine and eat healthy. It's gonna take some work and time.

Allritht I thought it sounded a little too good to be true.

My max number of pullups at the moment is 10, any ideas for sets/reps?

OH! I forgot to tell you guys thegood news, I can do pushups, I just never warmed up properly before doing them! I've been doing since I first said I couldn't and my asked if I was working out. I guess they're working.

I don't understand how you can do 10 pullups, (which isn't shabby) and have to warm up before doing pushups...I confused..?.?
