| | | Do you think it's funny how... At races you are often given a goody bag full of candy and offered unhealthy food afterward?
At the 5K I ran this weekend they offered us muffins and ice cream. I always find the bananas and water, they always offer those too |

| | lol, I usually bring my usual PWO nutrition...milk with me. I forgot this time.
also, I don't live downtown, so it's like a maze to me. I got to the race just in time I had to carry my t-shirt and fold up the rest of my packet in my pocket LOL. I just barely got to pee before running and I had 12 oz coffee and 16 oz milk in me (on top of my oats and PB of course) |

| | | At my first 5K, they had pizza with a banana and all that. Pizzas are good. You have to grease them out though. I used a napkin and tried to take off the grease. I found it ironic they served beer though. I mean don't those things causes dehydration? Plus it was like 90 something. I suppose they assume you can run the 5K without problems so basically you should be able to drink beer.
Who would come if all they served was "health" food? Sort of like going to a party, and they don't serve beer. I mean you would leave, right?

| | | I don't drink, so I probably wouldn't leave, no LOL
No pizza, thanks most of the sat fat is in the cheese, so blotting them doesn't do a whole lot.
I don't mind, people can eat what they want, it's just kind of funny | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
