exercising while sore?

I went snowboarding for 2 days in colorado. I took yesterday off completely, but I still feel like a truck ran over me. I'm pretty tired, and my calves are hurting and are really stiff. But, I kind of wanted to run tonight, and my buddies want me to go mountain biking tomorrow night. So, am I just hurting myself by trying while being sore? This is probably going to linger around for a few days but I don't want to sit still for a few days.

it depends if your juist sore or if you pulled something. If you pulled something, i wold take off a little whild. But i run every day and take off one every once in a while. To answer your firts question, yes its ok to run while your sore, i mean it wont hurt you, but if i were you, i wold wait until the soreness goes down a little, then push yourself hard, thats what i do.
