Good Music For Running?

Hey, I was just wondering what everyone listens to when they run...I find that good music helps me run longer.

I found out about this new CD by the Crystal Method called Drive: Nike + Original Run...I guess it's made exclusively for runners. You can stream the whole thing for free if you want to take a quick listen: http://music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds?defaultTab=5&

I like synthpop stuff like Freezepop; it's nerdy, but really upbeat and helps me run with an extra bounce in my step. I just keep hitting "next" on my iPod until I find a song that syncs with my stride, and that also helps, too.

Sometimes I wish I could figure out what beat I run at and match songs by BPM, because it makes a huge difference in my run.

yeah, I agree. I like going through my ipod while I run and seeing what feels best at the time...

I find that upbeat classical music works (e.g., Haydn symphonies) for me when I'm doing cardio, though some funk goes a long way to making a session more enjoyable too.
