I'm sick...should I run?

Yeah, I woke up on Thursday morning with the feeling of a dry throat...then I drink some water and it tastes terrible and my mouth feel gross all day long.

So, I decided not to run as I was also feeling a little dizzy.

Then, Friday I did not run because I felt the same way.

Today (Saturday), my symptoms are:

Semi Runny nose
Sort of sore throat
Tired
A wee bit dizzy

So, the past few days I did not run because I was afraid of getting even more sick...should I run with this little cold thing I have going?

Rest, get better, then run.

My opinion anyway.

The reason I ask, is because I have seen some studies say that running actually helps.

Not vigorous hard running, but a slow long jog.

That and I have only run once in the past 5 days, so I feel out of shape and blah.

THere is a rule of thumb, Im not sure how it goes but its if the cold is below your neck, rest, if its above your neck, work out.

I think you'll be ok, I would just rest if it were me.
