Just tryna get down to 140 pounds, but need help

Currently im 154 pounds. My goal weight is 140 pounds. Im 5'5, and a male. I cant seem to find a good way to stay on the treadmill for more then 30 minutes. Considering im 154 pounds im not into bad of shape, i just wanna find the most effective way for me to stay on the treadmill for about 45 minutes and finish dripping sweat after im done.

Ive tried running at 6.5 for as much time as possible but i dont really feel like im doing much so i stop. I try running at a speed of 7.5 mph but that turns out to be too fast. I read that HIIT is more for fat burning and more anaerobic, i can do HIIT training but not that well. Is long distance running the way to go, in other world, continuous running?

Have you tried varying the speed? If 7.5 is too fast to keep up for half an hour maybe try and do it for 5 min. and then go back to 6.5 and keep alternating.

If you have access to a gym try doing HIIT on the stationary bicycles. Its still HIIT but it has less stress on your knees and you can control it better. You won't have to worry about following off anything either...

I like using the stair masters.

Umm, i dont know how to say this but i have slacked off alot actually and havent ran much but yet i have managed to lose weight for some reason by just eating healthier and when i play basketball at gym i lose a pound like every day. And i dont starve myself at all.

Right now im at 154.2 pounds and im planning on running tomorrow morning. Im just gonna warm up for 5 minutes at 4.0 and run at 8.0 mph for 5 minutes, and repeat that for about 40 minutes cause i suck at continuous running cause my endurance has fallen off since i havent been running consistently.

Since you can't seem to consistently run, I recommend jump roping for 30 mins. each and every day.

30 mins. of jump roping is equivalent to running 1 full mile. Besides, it's easier to do.
