protein and running

I was wondering if taking whey protein would hurt my long distance running. I would like to gain a little more muscle mass but I don't want to slow down.

Whey protein won't hurt you any. Take it right after a good workout. A little mass in the legs wouldn't do any harm either. Just eat very clean when you bulk up.
