recommendations for cycling gloves (road biking)

I've got a pair of full finger, specialized, gel pad gloves. Well, I'm not too happy with the full finger gloves in the 1st place. Secondly, they aren't all that comfortable. Give me some recommendations on some comfortable, half-finger gloves that you enjoy for long distance cycling.

I use the half finger Specialized Sport Road glove. Those puppies are going on probably something like 2500 miles and I still find them comfortable.

I thought all gloves fit and felt about the same, except for Adidas, which seem a little less padded. Pearl Izumis are fine. And crochet is soooo old school!
