My RHR is 58-60. I am 40 y/o and I have been only recently been running regular. My
1st 10K Nov 2007 finish was 56:47

uh-oh... i think something is wrong with me. I jogged regularly, 3-4times a week, each time was around 35-50 min. Just checked my HR, it's around 75 per minutes!!! someone explain this to me??? kinda freaked out here...

when did you take it? Try to take it first thing in the morning, right after waking up, while still in bed.

I took my HR when i was sitting down doing nothing, only typing. Couldnt' be that different from just work up in the morning, will it?

Errr... i sat on my ass for around 3 hours before i checked my HR. I will check my HR tomorrow morning to see if i should freak out or not...

Also, mine is 50 right now, but I've been listening to classic rock and... doing other things that tend to raise one's heart rate. Got me all curious now, so I'll check in the morning. I'm supposed to be tracking anyway.

Well, I finally have an actual monitor and if I leave it on and just chill and watch TV it gets around 51-53. It has been as low as 50. I don't plan on sleeping with it on to get my "true" resting HR LOL sounds uncomfortable
