Thread: Have u played Futsal before?

Futsal is really gaining popularity in my country. Have any of you played the game before? I enjoy playing on synthetic grass indoor. Check out my favorite venue to play: SportsCity

I play every friday night. Im still getting over the ball not bouncing.

yup, futsal ball is size 4 instead of size 5. It means less bounce. Since it sticks on the ground more, i can learn to dribble easier. But i realise a good pair of futsal boots makes a whole lot difference.

I can only last a 1 hour session playing 5 a side.

They are weighted as well though right?

yeah, the futsal ball weight is heavier to minimise lobs. The ball is meant to roll on the ground at all times.

did u know that the goalkeeper is not allowed to use his hands, chest or head to stop the ball? I need to work on my flying kick in order to be a great goallie.
