rugby or american football

rugby has less pads (if any) and no hemlets. American football has all the safety equipment but with insane tackles. Which is the hardest sport? u decide.

Rugby for sure, although you have a much better chance of breaking your neck/back/arms/legs in football due to getting hit by a freight train.

also, hockey: 2004 Brawl

Hard to compare the two, but I chose rugby. Mostly because I like the rawness of it.

American football players wear a lot of padding and I prefer sports where there isn't as much padding (or none at all). Aussie rules football is another sport I really enjoy watching.

Oh crap. I let the mods have too much power for my title

We might as well leave it until I can come up with something brilliant ... which in my case, could take years

Let me guess, all the Americans will say football, non-Americans, especially Europeans will say rugby.

Who cares? I like football because that's what I grew up with.

It's kind of like you said Blindside, American football players wear pads because on every play they directly collide with incredible force. Back in the old days people died from not having appropriate equipment. Nowadays someone still gets injured pretty much every game and several get seriously injured every year WITH pads

Concussions, broken bones, torn cartilage etc are commonplace.

I'm sure Rugby is tough too, but I have little knowledge of it

Probably. I don't know anybody that even knows the rules to cricket. Pakis and East Indians play it a lot here in the summer.

If there is going to be a ball coming at me that fast, I'd choose lacrosse

I do so you know me
But most Pakistani's I know would find being called a Paki pretty offensive as it's used as an insult over here, a little like calling a black guy a n***er. I imagine it must be different in Canada
