Best whey protein

I was just wondering wht whey protein people on here think is the best? The protein I have been taking is approxamitley 36g protein,4g carbs per 48 g serving, is that ok.I have seen a six star brand whey protein that claims 50g protein for 60g serving, just wondering if that one is good?

Most whey is about the same (arguably), but I prefer Optimum Nutrition.

I like Nitrean, because its a whey + casein blend, which has been shown thru scientific research to be 'better'.
you get fast acting whey, and slow digesting casien to provide a more steady stream of protein, keeping you in a positive nitrogen balance (i.e. anabolic rather than catabolic).

plus nitrean tastes awesome and mixes easily.
otherwise i'd stick to optimum nutrition because its a decent price for good quality whey, and their flavor is pretty decent.

I take ON Gold Standard 100% Whey. It has 24G of protein per 30.5G serving. Pretty good amount, I think. Plus the thing doesn't get old for me, so that's a plus.

Ive read articles that state you can only assimilate 30g of protein/ serving. Im not sure how reputable this is but I try and keep to that for my shakes and rely on diet for the rest of my protein intake.

This is when Im seriously training. Otherwise I dont worry that much.

Six star is actually owned by Muscletech.... it is their more affordable brand. If you are looking to try to lean up and not get to many callories from your protein then I would go with 100% whey from ON, if you are looking to bulk up then go with Muscle milk. However my favorite is syntha 6, not only is it high in protein, low in fats and surgar, but it also taste great. Here is a ton of syntha 6 reviews, they speak for them selves.
