combining Protein Drinks with Energy Drinks
Hi All (been a while!)
About to start going to the gym again. it has been a very long time.
I have an idea of having a protein drink for breakfast (such as maximuscle's promax)
and an energy/stimulation/recovery drink before/during/after my workout (such as maximuscle's viper or the viper extreme bars) and play football
is it ok to do that? not sure if it could be taking too much or that they will somehow conflict etc
i'm simply looking to improve fitness (well, get fit for a start) and stregnth along with definition of my body. but not looking to pack on loads of huge muscle. something just short of Will Smith (wouldnt we all) but i mean he is well toned but not grotescely big!
so protein for the muscle and viper for the energy.
any advice?

Maximuscle will leave a hole in your wallet for sure. People take crap (in my opinion) like superpump (nicknamed superdump because you will dump that stuff in the toilet real soon), BSN NoExplode (NO products are reportedly NO good) etc. These are the supps I take, there was a thread on the supps people take.

Why just a shake for breakfast? You need real food.

Yeah tencent is right. I saw him digging a hole in his wallet and didn't realise he didn't have a proper diet in place. Supplements are just that - to supplement whole food not replace them. To the OP, post your full diet, you need to get your diet in order.
