Could Ripped Fuel be causing my depression?

So I started taking Ripped Fuel Extreme a week ago and at first it seemed great. I had pretty good energy when it came to workouts already but it gave me an additional boost that helped me go the distance. I felt great for maybe 3 days. After those initial couple days I was suddenly hit by a major bout of depression. It could be partially attributed to my personal life or even the weather who knows, but those factors do not account for the way I've felt recently. I've had no energy during the day, insomnia at night and severe depression every waking hour. I understand that the caffeine is probably causing the insomnia but what about the other stuff. I'd be willing to sacrifice good sleeping habits for an extra boost but I really feel like crap. Could it be the pills?

it could be. I've only taken ripped fuel back when it still had ephedra in it, and ephedra can definitely have weird side effects.
i don't really know what's in the 'new' ripped fuel, but if you're nervous about it, just lay off it for a few days and see what happens. it should only take 3 days to really get outta yer system.

back when i took ripped fuel, I'd go on for 5 days, off for 2 days. I was a total prick on the off days because I was lacking all that extra caffine and the ephedra stimulant, so I'd have headaches from not taking it.

i agree, one or more of the ingredients could be causing you trouble. like malkore said, lay off for a few days and see what happens.

I have a sort of related story, maybe it may shed some light on the subject.

On my first attempt to get into shape (before I injured my knee in a baseball game I was umpiring, I got too close to a sliding play, it was ugly) I took Xenadrine with ephedrin. Normally, I am a laid back, friendly, patient man. I wasn't a violent person, I let stuff roll off my back pretty easily. As I took Xenadrine, I became short tempered, aggressive, and basically a mean person. I was unaware I was doing it really until I almost got into a fight. I stopped taking it and within a week, I was back to my normal self.

Its not ripped fuel, but some of the ingredients in the Xenadrine were making me mean. Maybe thats whats happening with you, but its making you depressed.
