Creatine and the dextrose-intake drink

I don't eat sugar (not because of health issues, but because eating (refined) sugar is just bad in general), how do I consume creatine? Should I make an exception? What is the best drink to mix your creatine in? Thanks in advance.

I throw mine in my PWO shake which has whey and dextrose in it. The dextrose will aid in the transport.

Sodium can also help transport creatine.
