Cutting protein shake

Hellooo

Just started a cut. I was looking at buying the maximuscle promax protein shake but I hear it would be best to get pure whey when cutting and I came across this supplement.

Any reviews?

Thanks for reading~

In my short opinion, pick a whey powder, with little or no carbohydrates when dieting to lose good tissue. Get your carbohydrate from other food sources.

IMO, use the powder sparingly, and get most of your protein calories from "solid food" to assist in keeping your stomach as full as possible, because whey powder-liquid gets absorbed much faster than a solid protein source.

I would suggest to use whey powder pre and post workout. This is what I do. And, I get my other protein grams from solid protein sources (such as chicken breast, tuna, turkey, Bison/Buffalo, lean beef, cottage cheese, etc, etc).

IMO, if you are not hungry when cutting.......something is wrong. LOL...., but it can be true actually.

Therefore, efforts ought to be made to reduce this truth when deficient in calories, through water, and foods you consume. While Whey protein-liquid is a very good source of protein, it does NOT tend to solve "personal satisfaction" issues related to being hungry--because it gets digested quickly.

If you can drink this more often (other than around your workouts), then this is fine, you do not have these sorts of issues. I am just throwing this out there for something to think about.

Best wishes,

Chillen

I can't possibly say anything that would be as informational and true as Chillen except that I agree completely. Here in the states Zero Impact is a good no carb protien but when you get down to the final few pounds of a cut you have to phase out the powder- or atleast I did.

Another thing you want to be on the lookout for is the sodium content of what you eat. I your cutting for a photo shoot or contest or just to look good at the beach, the salt in the food is going to keep you from getting ripped if that is what you want to do. Off topic but thought I'd share.
