Cytogainer and L-glutamine HELP

ok i went to gnc an bought a tub of cytogainer cookies an cream flavor an a bottle of L-glutamine 1500 mg pills. i had a guy i kno who is a body builder tell me to take cytogainer,glutamine an eat like a horse an thats all i need to do to get big. i weigh 150 an iv ben workn out really serously an hardcore 5 days a week for about 8 months now. my goal is to get big im eating right the best i can cutting out all bullcrap foods an only good foods an good drinks. i try to eat every 3 hours an drinkas mnuch water as i can an heck when im in the gym i can dang near go threw a gallon of water then. but anyway im 20 yrs old an bout 5' 11 i think. now my questions are about the cytogainer is it says each serving is 54g an on the back on how it says to take it it says mix 4 scoops for a rich creamy shake in 16 oz of water or milk. but it also says only take 3 servings a day. so i thought a serving is one scoop but way its put on the label it ant...so im confused an it yor like u can take it mult times a day. an i want to take it after i workout an before bed which it says to do. buyt like 4 scoops evreytime u take it is way to much cuz im still confused on how much to take....like i would figure take maybe one scoop maybe 2 each time u want to take it.....so can yall help me on that cuz i sho dont no an i dont want to take to much of it when its not nesssary. now my other question is for the glutamine. it says on the bak take 2-4 capsuls a day perferably 2 before excersise an 2 after excersise.....now only 90 pillls comes in the bottle ann today i only took 2 before i worked out cuz im not sure should i take 2 before an 2 after like it says or say take one before an another after i duno so please help me understand how to do take this correctly. i really appreicate any help. srry my typen sucks by the way cuz im just trying to hurry up an get in the bed lol

jesus dude...learn to hit the Enter key once in a while...

it sounds like Cytogainer is 4 scoops to a serving. That sounds about right for a 'gainer' product. There's more than protein in there. A protein powder is usually 1 scoop = 25g of protein (on average), but there's almost no carbs.
Gainers are loaded with carbs, which takes up volume, so you need more scoops to still get your 25g of protein, plus probably 40g of carbs.

L-glutamine doesn't really work like the marketing ads claim. don't buy it again.

The OP could sure do with some paragraphs in his statement. The 6 lb cytogainer has 18 servings of 4 scoops each serving. If you take it 3 times a day it will only last you 6 days rather than 18 days. Are you eating enough? Read the stickies in the nutrition section.

Personally a weight-gainer would be a "waste", as you take 600 calories post workout and your protein requirements are not met (you need 2 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight). If you had 5 or 6 small meals a day with protein/complex carbs and healthy fats, you are much better off than the guy on a weight-gainer laden with sugar who may not be getting the protein he needs.

Weight gainers are such a waste of money!!!
your paying the same price for 1/2 the amoun of protein (or less) and you use it up twice as fast.

Buy a good protein powder.
it should be 75%protein or more.

If you really need the carbs then order a bag of waxy mase or dextrose. that will cost you about £2.50 a kg, or $5 for 2lbs. (ish)
then you can just add the carb sugar powder to your protein shake if you need it.
but its much better to get your carbs and protein from food if you can. Dont treat your shakes like a meal replacement. they are 'suppliments'.
