"cant do the dairy thing" ? Are you lactose intolerant?
If so, Just get some whey protein isolate, they have almost no lactose, it's a very high quality protein.

i have been using egg or soy with no problems. i was told i have no allergies to milk but i am 45 and i guess this when men start to have problems with dairy. i got some egg protein that has aspartame and now i dont feel that well. would like to find some unsweetened or some with stevia or even fructose.

Look this up It's a whey isolate, 'Isopure Zero carb protein',
It has 0 carbs and it's lactose free, haven't tried it, but it seems like some high quality stuff!
