Gold Standard 100% Whey or Now Foods Whey Protein

I am about to finish by 5lb tub of ON 100% whey protein. I'm not a bodybuilder, just trying to gain some muscle so that I can lose some weight later. However Now Foods I can get for like $40 off of amazon whereas 100% whey from ON is $40. So, I was wondering what you guys think is the better one to get. Thanks. If there's something better just say so.

I did see this review, but I don't know how old it is:

If $40 is your budget, I would honestly go with Nitrean from At Large Nutrition - Your number one choice for nutritional supplements.

Its whey + casein, which is better than straight whey according to my research.

Otherwise I'd go with ON 100% since I know its decent and tastes good. NOW is probably ok nutrition wise, but the taste and mixability might not be so hot.

And just my 2 cents, don't necessarily judge anything by another's review. That article writer says ON Cookies and Cream is "horrid" and I happen to love it.

Actually, I don't know if I'm really trying to gain any muscle, I just want to make it so that while losing weight I don't lose any muscle. So should I still get Nitrean, you think?

And to the other user, I have the milk chocolate flavor and I love it ... but many say that the chocolate flavor is horrid.

My post didn't actually mention building muscle...did it?

casein digests more slowly, so it helps make a shake more filling.

I was reading from here : Possible Error Detected

Hmmmm... Well I know that I don't work out as well as he does, so maybe this isn't so bad. I just don't know.

I have that exact same Gold Standard product, and I'm really happy with it. It's the best tasting shake I've ever had, and it dissolves really nicely (some leave chunks).

Cool. I get some chunks too... but not really anything to really notice. I really like the flavor of the extreme milk chocolate, and just because of that, I'm thinking on getting another tub of it. It's just that it's not all isolate, but some concentrate...and I didn't know how bad that was. I'm happy with it too.
