oh boy, this should faster a pile of replies. I am interested in this topic too, and would like to ask if we should use tablets or extract. I do not take any supplements right now.

Im not into the supplement activity as much as the others on the forum. Im just more concerned with if the biological levels for my age are normal (like testosterone, thyroid function, and the alike). I like getting my nutrition through hard food. However, I do take a food supplement which are fish oil and flax seed oil. I like the gels or extract rather than the hard. It just seems more natural to me than the hard stuff. Just a preference I guess.

The brand I have been using for both is called body chemistry. The reason I take these, other than the obvious good fats and other associated benefits, are for assistance in the joints (this is primary reason I take Flax). In addition, I have purposedly weeded out all fats from other sources (or at least their minimal) and get fats through Natural PB and these two supps (and tuna, and fatty fish like Salmon). THis is not to say I dont get it elsewhere, it is just strictly limited, and has served me well.
