| | | I am going to get some creatine... I don't really understand it completely, though. I just know that it adds more creatine to your body, but creatine is produced naturally. I know you have to drink a ton of water while doing it.. and that's about it.
What else should I know about this supplement? What are some really good links that cover all the basics about it? How is it used?
Thanks! |

| | awesome articles, I read both of them completely.
The only bad part is that they assumed I knew what creatine does. What exactly does it do? I saw from the articles that it makes us look bigger, and it seemed to pump our muscles up so that we can lift a little bigger..
What other effects does it have? What else is the good in it? (as far as training goes)
Edit: Also I am not really sure which type of creatine to get. I read in the articles it's best to get the finest powder and it should be 100% creatine monohydrate..
I am looking at this here : CH POWER CREATINE 400gr and this: Pure Creatine, 500 grams
Is this what they are recommending? It doesn't say 100% creatine monohydrate in the description, but I can't find too many that do in the online stores that i'm looking at.. and it wouldn't have to be very fine powder cuz I will be putting it in a blender anyway.

| | | You know your muscles use ATP as energy?
the P is phosphate, creatine is really creatinphophate (or something like that)
ATP stands for adenosine-tri-posphate. Meaning it has 3 phosphata groups. it can also be di (2) and mono (1) phosphate. You can see these as a battery. when it's down to mono, it needs to be recharged with phosphate to become ATP again. Creatine gives it's phosphate to AMP or ADP.
Get it?
I think creatine is stored in water, so more creatine = the body has to get more water into your muscles, resulting in them looking bigger (I'm a bit unsure about that)

Is the creatine that I listed above good stuff? I want to buy ASAP so a quick reply would be awesome! |

| | | Creatine increases intramuscular stores of Creatine and seeing as muscles have a very high water content then people generally retain a little water but not all people.
Creatine helps with the production of ATP and and PC. Creatine is all good in the hood but theres little benifit if you arent already following a ballanced diet and making sure your training is being optimised.
There are also such people that are called creatine non responders. From what I understand (i may be wrong here) some people are genetically and nutritionally more disposed to store higher levels of Creatine therfore dont get the benifits of supplementation. |

I am looking at these two types of creatine mainly because they are cheap..
Will this work good? Creatine, 1000 grams
I am not sure if we want it to come from animal sources or not..? Some do and some don't.
