Very, very interesting.

Quote:
Judge Tena Campbell’s ruling sends the matter back to the FDA “for further rulemaking consistent with the court’s opinion” and keeps the agency from enforcement action against the companies.
Does that mean we can market it and fear no punishment from the FDA? That would be hot.

Well, like I said on another thread, ephedrine can still be legally sold. Functionally the same as ephedra in all senses, except synthetic.

Hopefully this will end the whole "EF" (Ephedra Free) marketing that's somehow become a huge selling point. I mean, ****, people like ephedra - why make such a big deal about it being missing from your products?

This is nothing new. I'm more surprised that somebody finally won a case against them.

the fda has me wondering:

its no secret that the public perception of risk is piss poor at best. people will avoid red meat because "they may get e. coli," but will not buckle their seat belts on the way to the supermarket to buy their soy cakes.

i wonder what it more dangerous: a big mac, or a vioxx tablet. what about celebrex or coca-cola? lots of people drink several cokes a day...but how many of those people will never take a celebrex, "because its bad for your heart?"

i just dont understand the mentality in this contry when it comes to food and drugs. we are allowing fast food restaurants in high schools that will establish poor eating habits nice and early, and coupled with the elimination of phys ed programs will undoubtedly blow the adolescent obesity rates into the stratoshphere...but we nix any drugs that have minimal risks when used properly.
