Low carb ingredient to mix with protein powder?

Hi all.

Just started a low carb diet, and my protein powder is bland, unflavored, unsweetened, and virtually carb free.
The way I have prepared it in the past is blending with wild berries. That has tasted wonderful and been fine and dandy, but i'm a little concerned that it might be way too many carbs to keep doing.

I'm now looking for alternatives to the berry madness.
I'm thinking a small amount of vanilla extract may be the trick?

I'd like to avoid any artificial sweeteners, so with that in mind, anyone have any suggestions?

I use this stuff, I'm on a low carb diet too. These shakes are virtually the only carbs I consume. I mix it with water, ice cubes and p-nut butter. I used to use extract like you suggest, a little bit goes a long way. it's hard to balance flavor with low carbs and getting the protien you want, so I know what you mean.

At most I'll have two of these and it's generally a post workout drink so I reward myself with it and eat meat, eggs etc and drink water the rest of the day.
