Milk, juice, or water protein mix?

I take an elite whey protein. Should I mix it with skim milk, juice, or water? In my shake I also add glutemine, fiber, and coral calcium. Thanks.

I usually add milk or water. water if it's a normal everyday shake. Milk for PWO.

I hate the taste of mixing it with water.
I always use milk.

If you have a blender, you could try mixing it with yogurt, or home made flapjack.

the protein's I buy taste fine in water or milk but i've never even tried protein in juice. juice itself is something I avoid...way too much sugar...its not the same as eating the fruit in the first place.

Yeah, I like the pina colada flavor. It tastes fine with just water. It had a great flavor by itself, but I also add to it an orange citrus flavored fiber supplement, which tastes fine too. I don't really care about the taste anyway because once I mix it, I just down it pretty fast. The purpose of the question was to make sure I'm promoting abosorption as efficiently as possible. It seems the gereral consensus is to mix with milk for PWO and then water all other times. Does that sound right? Thanks.

No downside. Just if people do not want the extra calories or have trouble digesting it. Otherwise milk is a great post-training choice

I use milk. Fat-free milk. It adds to the protein you are taking in, has no fat, and the extra calcium and vitamin D can't hurt you.
