I am just now starting to be healthy, and doing the 6 meals a day thing. I wanted to make sure my breakfast was ok though first. It seemed like a LOT to take in.
- 60 grams of whey protein & 14-16oz of milk
- 2.5ml redline concentrate
- 2 multi men vitamins
The meal before lunch, I'll have actual food, but does this sound right? I had 30 grams of whey protein + 6-8oz of milk after my workout yesterday and it almost didn't seem like enough. I don't want to over or under do it.
I am 6'2 and 230 lbs right now. I'd love your advice!
Well if you're gonna add eggs in, you could throw vegetables in with the omelette or scramble. My main focus was to add in a veggie or fruit for a pH balance If you can cook, then I would eliminate the shake and make the eggs with veggies and some turkey sausage.
You better learn to love your fruits and vegetables. Read up on pH levels in the body and how to keep it at the right level. Plus you need the fiber and antioxidants.
I eat a lot of fruits---never got big on veggies, just some daily onions and peppers with garlic on my chicken breasts. I also havea once a week big feed at hibachi with my cheat--steamed zucchini, onions, peppers, etc.
Highly acidic diets (meats, dairy, eggs) with no bases (fruits, vegetables) cause the bones to make up for the deficit by leaching out minerals. In short, no vegetables equal weak bones and greater chance of arthritis.
