| | I think it depends on your caloric needs. If your looking to gain weight and the extra calories from milk fit in calories for the day...then I think it would be fine to drink milk. I normally drink water though...because I don't want the extra calories. Although...I have heard that calcium can help you burn fat. |

| | | I usually alternate between the two. But strawberry protein shake + milk = mmmm soo good. Plus on some days I need the extra calories and theres some protein in the milk as well. |

| | | Water here and it tastes great I think. It's quite a treat ;-)
I prefer banana flavour but like both chocolate and strawberry too. Not tried vanilla yet but I will one day. I take mine with 1 Pint of water so I could not imagine having it with a whole pint of milk each time. Some days I may take two shakes for convenience more than anything and I wouldn't want to add 1-2 pints of milk PER DAY to my diet. |

| | | {i usualy put the powder in a shaker with some suger (or Dextrose when I have it) and mix it with water after I lift. Theres now milk at the gym though and if there were thats what I would use. In theroy because Milk protein (whey protein is actualy milk protein) does absorb slower and the mix of the two keeps protein in your system a little longer.} SP? lol |

I've heard about the calcium helping with bodyfat. My nutrition instructor sent out an email with a study or two about it a few years ago.
I take my PWO with milk. I've tried protein powder in water but I just can't get used to it. If you're really concerned about digestion I suppose the fat in milk could slow down the digestion a bit but if that's the case then use non-fat milk. I really don't think it makes enough of a difference to warrant the change to water though. |
