Over the last couple of months or so I have started drinking protein shakes and have noticed and interesting side effect.....

My farts absolutely reek! I can usually take my own smell but this is pushing me to the limit and I fear my lovely girlfriend will pack up her bags to live somewhere where she can breath comfortably and her plants don't wilt and die.

Has anyone else experienced this side effect?

It has almost got to a point where I was contemplating giving up the shakes......or at least trying another brand.

Thoughts?

how much protein in each shake? 20g? 30? 60?

protein smells when it digests...some more than others, and a lot depends on what else you ate that day, and your own body chemistry...as to how bad your gas will stank.
