Some Supplement Questions

My friend and I decided a month ago that we were gonna change. We both went out and bought creatine, but I bought whey protein. I lift every other day and do situps and pushups on that day, while taking a break on the off day. I drink creatine everyday and my whey protein only on the days I work out. My friend already started running and so I told him I was going to and he told me if I was going to run, that I had to stop taking creatine because its bad for running.

I'm losing a lot of weight by eating healthy, but I am also gaining a lot of muscle. I was told not to try to lose weight and bulk at the same time, but my results keep me doing this.

1. Is creatine bad for running?
2. I was told to eat my weight in grams of protein, which is hard, is that correct?
3. Is there anything better than whey protein for protein? (price isnt much of an issue)
4. Is dextrose or glycogen worth buying?

1. No, it actually help you, especially if you are doing any type of sprinting.
2. Yes
3. Any solid protein: chicken, tuna, fish, lean red meat, cottage cheese etc- but for convenience purposes probably not.
4. Dextrose is not necessary, but if you want an easy way to get simple carbs after you lift into your post workout meal then it is a good idea.

Also if you are gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time keep doing what your doing man, thats awesome.

I don't understand when people say this is hard. I have trouble not eating way over that and I only eat meat 2X per day totaling maybe 12 ounces. I weigh 188 right now and I get like 230 or more per day...I just can't get my calories without doing so.

Tuna: per tin is around the 30g mark
Chicken Breast: Also around the 30g mark

Nuts are brilliant, for 100g of peanuts thats also nearly 30g of protein.
Skimmed milk also, 1 litre a day produces around 35g of protein

Im on this new PWO shake that my gym has only just got in stock, it has 53g of protein! Never seen anything as good!

I think they forget there's a significant amount in protein in many complex carbs: pasta, oats etc.. have around 13 grams of protein per 100g
People just count the protein sources coming from meat and poultry.
I was like that too I thought I wasn't getting enough protein, I started using fitday and realized that I'm getting more than I need with all the pasta and oats that I eat besides the meat and poultry.
