So i am about to buy some more creatine but this celltech hardcore really has me wanting to try it out! has any one here used it or know much info so they can shed some light about how good it really is?
since its by muscletech, I guarantee its over priced.
celltech hardcore appears to be "fancy" creatine and some dextrose, with some misc. crap thrown in.
4.5lbs for $40 and that's only 20 servings...2 dollars per serving?! WTF would you want to throw your money away on this stuff Smith?
CREATINE MONOHYDRATE = $15 for 100 servings
Corn Sugar/Dextros = $1 a pound
For $40 I could have daily creatine for over half a year if I didn't waste time with Muscletech crap.
If u want some alternatives look into Size-On by:Gaspari Nutrition. iv had great results with it. and anything u buy, buy it from Bodybuilding.com. best prices iv found
Was told that i should only take creatine + dextrose after a workout by derwydon and i talked to the guy that i buy it of and he thinks i should take dextrose with it each time i have it because helps with transportation of the protien and only would tell me not to have it with dextrose if i was fat...? I have a dextrose and creatine mix and 100% pure creatine as well so i am thinking the mixture of dextrose and creatine after and pure creatine before and on of days
no i don't go to gnc...sorry you guessed wrong. I go to a supplement shop where there is a 58 year old guy who has been bodybuilding for pretty much all his life and has trained tons of people to be huge...he has them all around his shop wall a before and after picture. This place is a one and only and is owned by him its not some big company like gnc ......oh and der....your still posting in my threads you where so ****ing rude to me before...so go away PLEASE! what do you expect seriously. You oferd to help me out and i ask when it is posible for it to be done and you totally bar me...and act like i was totally rude telling you to hurry the hell up

dextrose does improve absorption of creatine monohydrate, due to the insulin spiking effect of dextrose.
dextrose will also help replenish glycogen stores, which is the real reason you'd want it post workout. the slight improvement of mono. absorption is just a fringe benefit.
its just so much cheaper to buy mono and dextrose separate, not to mention you can control the amount of dextrose which is important both for cutting and bulking diets...instead of beign at the mercy of the CellTech (or simliar product).
plus you can mix that into a protein shake, and sometimes the added sweetness makes it taste better.
as far as when to take creatine...taking it daily is all that matters. you're just increasing and then maintaining saturation in the muscles.
creatine is more like taking an anti-depressant. it has to build up in the system and then its effects are noticed.
its not like taking an aspirin where it works in 20 minutes and wears off after 6 hours.
Oh, so he has even more incentive to try to get you to spend money.
And I don't always look at who asked the question, I just reply to threads and do my best to answer questions. Grow up.

It makes no sense to spike your insulin with dextrose or any simple carb for that matter, at any other time of day than after a weight training session.
This is the time your body can be a it's most anabolic state and at which time requires the replenishment of glycogen. Yes, the creatine should be taken at this time however typically one only takes a serving of 5g per day after a weight training session or at any time of day on a non-training day.
Maybe he meant use dextrose everytime you take it bearing in mind that it would be after a workout? If not, maybe you can have him explain to you why he thinks you should take it with dextrose on a non-training day?
