This is a great thread. Its changed my pwo shake a lot.
picked up my dextrose today and man that stuff is sweet. Had to add a lime juice to bring it down a touch.

What brand/flavor protien do you use, My banana stuff is really not working with the dextrose.

I have not used many suppliments in the past, I made great gains with food and whey shakes and wanted to hold off the suppliment for as long as I could.

What was my kitchen worktop now looks more like a pharmacy!!!

MoK, I was mixing it with Vanilla flavor ON 100% whey and it was fine...sweet, but fine.
Now I have the chocolate Nitrean, and its not as sweet to begin with, so the dextrose isn't so overpowering with it.

but i don't think you can get nitrean in the UK

All that alleged knowledge and experience and you didn't know PWO meant post workout and couldn't draw the conclusion. Curious...

ah this is funny. cause if you are training 12 hours a day, with 8 hours fo sleep, that leaves you with about 4 hours to tend to your child, work, and research anthropology

...i hear child services knocking on your door right now

Easy tiger, dont tar us all with the same brush. I'm from New Zealand, I'm quite new to the whole nutrition and fitness thing, and I'm aware of the term PWO and most other tech terms and acronyms used on this forum.
