too much water with whey?

a bit of a silly question but I would like to know if you drink a ton of water with your whey, could that possibly have an adverse effect of flushing the whey out your system before your body used all that it would have?

I'm not sure if water is the culprit in the flushing out of protein. I know that one can consume too much protein and it can be flushed out in the urine, but that takes a lot of extra protein. Increased water consumption is actually recommended when you start taking a protein supplement.

Spicy is correct. Water will help absorption.
