Trouble sleeping -- could it be the protein shake?

Lately I've been having some problems sleeping since I started taking the protein shake. I was wondering if it's possible that its due to it. I usually take it at 8PM.

Thanks.

This is the protein Shake that I'm taking right now: At Large Nutrition - Nitrean 4.6 lbs - Protein powder supplement.

No I don't wake up in the middle of the night, I just can't go to sleep until 4-5 in the morning. No food sensitivities besides lactose intolerance, I drink Lactaid though.

I'm lifting weights 3 times/week and doing HIIT 4-5 days per week. I'd think I would be able to go to sleep after HIIT but I can't.

Thanks.

What time of the day do you typically finish your workouts - i.e 5:00 p.m, 8:00 p.m, 11:00 p.m ?

I assume ( that a couple of times a week ) you do weights and HIIT afterwards ? How long does each - i.e HIIT - session take ?

When do you take this shake(s) ?

Do you consume a lot of stuff during the day ( or later in the day ) that has a lot of caffeine in them ?

I finish working out at around 8PM and then take one serving of the shake (30g).

I usually do 3 times/week weights and 4-5 times/week HIIT... probably 1-2 days a week I do weights and then HIIT, but I always have problems sleeping regardless. The HIIT is 5 minutes of warm-up, 20 minutes HIIT, 5 minutes cool-down. Weights is probably 1 hour and a half and I usually do a total of 6-8 exercises.

No caffeine, it gives me anxiety.

I don't have trouble sleeping but they make you poo more.

Not in a bad way though, like not unhealthy poo's or anything!
