about the screaming thing, if people did real exercises, like deads, squats, bench, or actually used weight and did less than a 20 rep, screaming would be okay. But I can't stand people screaming while doing curls and using their whole body to complete the lift.

Absolutely true. Tell that to my wife though.

Not so much funny as sad: old people using the assisted dip and pullup machine.

It's the only place in my gym to do dips (you get rid of assistance by putting a dumbbell on the pad or w/e) but old people like to do sets of 50 dips and pullups with 90% of their body weigh on the resistance and they're only going through 1/8 the ROM. While their particular training techniques are theres alone and do not negatively affect me, It'd be nice if they didn't take 20 minutes just sitting on that machine, they like to rest on it too, it's likea lounge for them.

Not funny, but very impressive nonetheless: Dude hangs (5) 45# plates on each side of a deadlift bar and I'm thinking he's gonna kill himself. Dude deadlifts it 3 times! 495 frigging pounds! That was one strong sunuvabeech!

Dno if its been said, but farting in the gym. You always walk into that wall of *****ing smell and when lifting its hard to breathe properly.

Its funny when i fart tho, i just casually sly off to somewhere else or go next to one of the fans.

I fart sometimes when pushing a rep out also, which is a fart that i cant control the sound of so if its loud its loud and i cant do ***** all about it.

I might have one that counts, I just got back from the gym where I managed to split my shorts while cleaning the bar from the floor. I only noticed the second time when I ripped it a bit further

That's now 3 pairs of jeans, 2 work trousers and one pair of shorts I've ripped the arse seat of this year!
