Thumbs up Amazing Fatloss (How Sweet the Sight!)

I've been watching this board for about 2 months now. I've never posted, because the questions I've had were usually answered in other posts. I just wanted to say that I started using worldfitness.com because I needed to loose weight, and with some helpfull ideas from you all, I've done just that.

Stats: 24 y/o male, 5'11"

2 months ago: 185 pounds, 34 or 36 inch waist line (depending on pants). Staple diet: McDonalds, Chineese Buffet, 2-3 regular soda's per day (average), lots of vending machine items (candy bars, chips, etc). No exercise (except when searching for the elusive remote control).

Today: 171 pounds, can fit into a 30 inch waist pair of jeans (32 - 34 still usually fits best). No fast food, no sodas (have been soda free for 2 months, with the exception of two jack-and-cokes I had at a club), no snack vending machines. I jog/run 3-4 days / week with my two friends (who are VERY fit). I don't own ANYTHING that is microwavable, and I eat mostly skinless boneless chicken (sometimes w/ veggies, sometimes with black beans, sometimess on a fat-free tortilla roll w/ natty PB).

Well, I just wanted to say thanks. I've got some more work to do w/ my body, but I'm going in the right direction! A special thanks to all the karate men, who cry on the inside, and all the logical people who wonder what gives us the right to destroy the planet. And thanks to everyone who asked the questions I wanted to ask, and answered those who asked them.

Heheh good show!

Soda is a killer, because usually those who drink it, drink it alot - and most people don't assosiate a beverage with weight problems

Beating sodas was easier than I thought. In the past, I'd want a cold drink. Well, the sodas are in the fridge, and they're easy to grab and drink. Now, I keep a pitcher of water in the fridge. It's cold and ready to pour.

I hadn't drank a soda for 3 years or so. Last saturday, while in the pool I decided to have a RC, I drank the whole thing. Didn't even like it I was just hot. What did I ever like about those things to begin with. Now if I could just lay off the chocolate completely <I would be good to go. Though I don't eat it like I used to. Love this board, and appreciate all the input.

I don't cave soda very much myself but i like some fast food every now and then and some sweets. You can eat anything you want just has long has you can control it which of course is the hard part.
