Hi. I broke my foot 4 weeks ago and am now in a cast and scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks! UGH!!! I can't go on walks or ride my bike any more. I can't do much of anything but sit around. Can anyone give me suggestions on exercise to keep my weight from skyrocketing???? I try to eat healthy - fruits, veggies, juice, pasta - but I am already feeling the added weight on my hips, thighs and behind. I do have a weakness when it comes to chocolate.
Dr.'s orders - no weight on foot - so it is difficult to do any exercises that I need to do standing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
