Can someone please help me map out a diet?
I'm completely motivated and ready to get into shape, I've joined a gym, and am ready to begin working on building a healthier body. I'm 6'2 and weigh around 170, with around 19% body fat. I have absolutely no muscle definition, and hope to see results after 6 months to a year.
My question is, what type of diet would be good for me if I want to burn body fat and see definition. I don't want to get big as far as muscle, just defined. I realize that 90% of it is how you eat, so what would "the day in the life" of myself be as far as a diet, ie. breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any snacks. Some things I really enjoy are peanut butter, chicken breast, veggies such as spinach and practically any green, tuna, etc.
Thanks for much for any example diet plans.

THE things that you mentioned you like are just about what you should be eating, except eat them 6 times a day in small meals. THAT with a good exercise program should get you on the right track, and also measure yourself for body fat at least every two weeks so you know were you are at.=====GOOD LUCK AND STAY POSTED

Try to eat natural whole foods vs. processed packaged crap. Also shoot for 1gram of protein per body weight.

I guess your diet is OK - you may just need to focus on excercise. If anything, I think you may want to add some weight, maybe I'm wrong, but I think 170 is a bit low for 6'2.
