Cardio

So I just found out the best way to shred fat is to do cardio in the morning
I have a quick question tho, should I eat breakfast before doing cardio or dont eat anything? protein shake(no carbs)?
And eat breakfast after cardio?

Where did you find this.

If refering to fasted cardio then do it without eating. Of course eat breakfast afterwards.

Have you got a link to the article?

Definitely eat breakfast afterwards. A lot of people (myself included) like to do fasted cardio before eating in the morning. It's best to long steady state cardio as opposed to high intensity cardio if you're not going to eat anything first though

Yeah, have something small beforehand, but make sure it doesn't raise your insulin levels; that means keeping away from coco-pops protein has the ability to raise insulin to so don't go overboard with the shakes.

And yes, eat afterwards, you'll be hungry.

What are you goals? How old are you, and what are your personal particulars?

The first order of business in wanting to lose fat tissue, certainly isn't cardio. It is properly setting up your diet, to "allow" the function of fat loss to occur. Believe me, when I tell you. That if your diet is messed up and not in a functional atmosphere for fat loss, no amount of cardio or other activity will be able to account for it, and it isn't going to matter if you do cardio on a full or empty stomach.

When your diet is constructed properly, then....we can discuss the debatable potential of fasted cardio, etc.

I would like to know more about you, before I start spatting off advice on what you should or shouldn't do. Just common sense.

Post your personal goals, the equipment you have available to train with, etc, etc, and we may be able to refine our answers more.

Good luck! Welcome to the forum! Glad you are here, wish you the best!
