| | | It seems light to me. Heres the kicker though, your only 13 right? I have no idea on nutritional advice for teenagers. You may need more calories than the norm. You may want to have your parents take you to see a nutritionist. |

| | | You definitely need to eat more than that - you are growing, and at this point in your life need a lot of calories and energy.
I agree that if you are really serious about this to go see a nutritionist who can help you out better than most of here on this forum. |

thats tiny man when i was 13 i ate like 100 times that im 16 now and i still eat a little more than that mind you im probally 3 times your weight but what im eating keeps me full and starting to look better. yeah i would also recommend going to a nutritionist or even your family doctor can give you some advice on what to eat. cause you defently want to eat more than that a day if you want to grow at all.. |

| | | Try to keep it to 6 meals, and watch it with the tuna. that may be alright 1 or 2 days a week, but they say tuna isnt goo to eat every day. something to do with mercury levels or somthing. anyways, you dont want to leave yourself hungry. eat a hearty bowl of cereal and have some fruit with it, and apple or somthing.. throughout the day munch on fruits and veggies for snacks. if you cut too much you will just end up hurting yourself. I agree that you are growing alot right now, and usually when younger you have a very fast metabolism which will make mince meat out of the food you eat in no time and leave your body looking for more.
if I were you I would just look to healthy foods and not so much of how much you eat. stay away from soda and drinks with ltos of sugars. drink lots of water. and do a little bit of jogging and weight lifting to get yourself in shape. you have years to go. |

| | | Also you shouldnt make your goals any higher than 1lb per week of weight loss. if you are loosing it faster than that there is a good chance you are destroying muscle along with the fat. muscle is the #1 fat burner. the more you have the more fat you will burn. muscle takes alot of energy to stay so you need to feel it. to loose 1lb per week you need to cut 500 calories a day out of your diet. 250 should be in some type of cardio/weight training, and the other 250 out of your meals. so jst stay away from those late night snacks, and most of all fast foods and you should be fine. I actually have a hard time eating enough food during the day. |

this is the price i had to pay
also, the reason why it is often recommended to lose 1 pound (of fat) per week is because unless it is integrated to your lifestlye (eating habits and activity levels) there is a good chance of gaining weight faster if you stop. often this happens to yoyo diets so be careful. there are studies supporting this claim but i'm rather impatient so i tried to read a book to change my perception about an active lifestyle and so far things have been ok. ^_^ |

| | | you do cardio before you eat (and for two hours at that)? the rate of muscle catabolism is higher when the body doesn't have anything to get energy from but itself. i'm not a bit surprised if you are fatigued or feel like you got hit by a truck after working out ^_^ |
