I measured at 40" after moving my dingyalingy out of the way...  FF

So it's just another thing that I have to stretch on a daily basis. |

However, it's perfectly fine to turn your feet out a little for a squat. Not so much on deadlifts. |

I can't scientifically battle it out with you, but I've seen both schools of thought. I don't think one is necessarily superior to the other, but just more comfortable and stable for me.
If we really need to hash this out, we can start another thread or take it to PM's... |

Of course, the back leg will rest on a box like any bulgarian squat, but the front leg should be elevated which will allow you to go a lot deeper. Really hits the glutes.
As for the discussion about foot pointing on squats, they should point the same way your knees are pointing, which is usually a bit out, unless you're using a very narrow stance. |
